Laundry Singapore Style

The one house hold chore Sean hates the most is/was hanging out the washing, but now he has actually been helping me hang out the washing as soon as we found out how to do it Singapore style. In the HDB we are currently staying in, it is quite a novelty to hang out the washing.

As you can see, a large bamboo stick is used to hang the clothes on and ensuring you have the clothes very tightly pegged you extend it out the window and attach it to the holders. On this particular day we hung the washing inside as it was raining (which it does a lot over here).

Let's hope the novelty does not wear off, because I like Sean helping out a bit :)
